Flipped a quad last weekend and broke my ankle in two spots and also my leg. School basically kicked me out, only had two months to finish up and I would of graduated, but oh well.
Going up for surgery next week, plates and rods and screws, anybody else ever have stuff like this done? I'm wondering on the recovery time. . .

they said that I needed to be able to climb under the trucks and be able to lift whateever everyone else could to finish the course. Said I needed a doctor to release me to be able to be there, basically take a physical that I knew I could not pass. Add in all the other difficulties and it just wasnt worth to fight it, so I got my tools, packed the truck and left
thats what one kid tried to do. He had went through 3 courses, retook the 3rd one and a week in they kicked him out. They waited til the loan cleared and the school had their money. He would oftne pass out for no reason and would need immediate medical attention, IE: Oxygen to wake hime up.
You're paying money to be there. They would have to show me in writing where it says I must be "able to climb under the trucks and be able to lift whateever everyone else could to finish the course."

it just came down to it not being worth it to fight with them. I would rather be here, at home, being able to rest and not have any chances of being injured any further and causing permanent damage
can you go back and finish later on when you're healed? That's a bunch of B.S. if you couldn't.
I have up to a year to go back and finish, but why would I? Thats around $800 in just fuel around(round trip) let alone getting back into the dorms, gettin aquainted with totally new people, and just putting off working for just that much more longer. I just want to get out there and work so I can get this place paid off and start life.
