Once in a lifetime thing to do before you die?

When I'm gray and old I'm going to cash in everything I have, buy a huge-*** twin-engined prop plane, load it up with gas and fly around the world (stopping of course) and visit as many countries as I can. May need to buy another plane mid-trip to haul all the souviners

I met a guy a few years ago in Fairbanks who had a Grumman Goose, and he and his wife flew it all over the world. The inside was decked out like an RV, and he had a Zodiac with a 10HP motor deflated and kept in a closet with a trolley running along the ceiling. You just pull the bag out, run it down the track, swing it out the back door, and pull the cord...instant dinghy. Pretty cool, except he filled up with over $8000 worth of gas just to get him to the next fuel stop in Dutch Harbor, on his way to Japan... Ready for that?

Drive a monster truck, top fuel dragster, F1 car, and an offshore powerboat.

+1 on that. I've flown an anfib before and it was the thrill of a life time. No comparison to my little Cessna 175
