Starting a new hobby...
Okay, new updates. I was supposed to start my lessons in a 1961 C150 for $95/hr. Well, my dad did some researching and found an instructor for $200/hr at a towered field, from a FBO Flight School, who trains in a leather-equipped 1996 Cessna 172 (Nice!) so my dad said he'll pay for half, so basically I'm paying the same for a REAL flight school in a better airplane and a 14,000-hour instructor.
He dosen't have any spots until the first week of Sept, so it gives me some time to save up some moneh.

at least now I know this plane will be able to climb and not struggle like the 150.

give me the n-number, lets see its history. When those 172's came back in production Cessna forgot how to make bug smashers, there are a ton of AD's on those. Still better than the 150 though.
