I am in the market for a new toy was looking at a jet ski and was wondering when going to buy a used one from some one what are things that i should be looking for what are some question that i should be asking. I have ridden jet skis before rentals and friends so i know how to control them

Dont buy a used one unless you can take it on the water first. Some will start up and sound fine on land but when you get it out on the water it wont run correctly. And try to get a newer one. Old jetski's are a PITA!!!!

 

definitely buy a four stroke.

honda's are supposed to be the slowest on the water but i really enjoyed my 3 seater when i had it. and it kept up with my friends sea-doo. and it was very reliable.

try to stay away from superchargers or turbo chargers. everyone that i have seen that has one has had problems within the first year.

 

No problem with my supercharged RXP in over a year with a lot of hard hours on it. My vote goes towarda Seadoo RXP.

 

2002 seadoo jetski 3 seater Thsi is what i am looking at buying test driving shouldnt be a problem casue its in there back yard on ther private dock so TDing should be fine
