I'm voting democrat!

NOT:

I'm brilliant !!!

I'm voting Democrat because: I believe the government will do a better job of spending the money I earn than I would.

I'm voting Democrat because: I believe white people need to spend their time at the back of the bus.

I'm voting Democrat because: I believe three or four pointy headed elitist liberals need to rewrite the Constitution every few days to suit some fringe kooks who would NEVER get their agendas past the voters.

I'm voting Democrat because: I believe oil companies' profits of 4% on a gallon of gas are obscene but the government taxing the same gallon of gas at 15% isn't.

I'm voting Democrat because: I believe that paying $4.00 a gallon or more is no reason to drill for the mountain of oil we are sitting on in THIS country. We wouldn't want to have to move a couple of Polar bears now would we?

I'm voting Democrat because: when we pull out of Iraq , I trust that the bad guys will stop what they're doing because they now think we're good people.

I'm voting Democrat because: I don't want a stimulus check to spend. Let the government spend it for me.

I'm voting Democrat because: freedom of speech is fine as long as nobody is offended by it.

I'm voting Democrat because: I love the fact that I can now marry whatever I want. I'm going to marry my Brother.

I'm voting Democrat because: I'm not concerned about the slaughter of millions of babies so long as we keep all death row inmates alive.

I'm voting Democrat because: I don't want to eat poison food and drink dirty water. We all know Republicans love that stuff. Ever wonder why the most left wing country in the World ( China ) is the most polluted?

I'm voting Democrat because: I believe that when the terrorists don't have to hide from us over there, when they come over here I don't want to have any guns in the house to fight them off with.

I'm voting Democrat because: I believe that churches should only be allowed for political speeches.

I'm voting Democrat because: I believe that business should not be allowed to make profits for themselves. They need to break even and give the rest away to the employees.

I'm voting Democrat because: I believe that I don't want Doctors who were at the top of their classes to operate on me. I want a government employee who makes $50k a year and couldn't hack it as a contractor or an engineer.

I'm voting Democrat because: I believe that people who can't tell us if it will rain on Friday CAN tell us that the polar ice caps will melt away in ten years if I don't start driving a Prius.

I'm voting Democrat because: I REALLY believe there is no bias in the media. I'm All for CHANGE!!!

It's sad, but the change Democrats speak of is merely a token word. Why can't they realize that? I guess it's all part of the show.

ROFLMFAO

Marcus Tullius Cicero

"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murder is less to fear."

You know, if it were Barak Obama saying all thoes things it would be considered a brilliant, eloquent speach.

It's a shame to me that we may have to endure four years of rhetoric like that because people feel the need to avenge Bush.

(Teddy Roosevelt)

One of the great attractions to patriotism - it fulfils our worst wishes. In the person of our nation we are able, vicariously, to bully and cheat. Bully and cheat, what's more, with a feeling that we are profoundly virtuous (Aldous Huxley)

Patriotism is the last refuge of scoundrels (Samuel Johnson)

Just for a change of pace, you can throw in one of these...

How very true..You folks are so worried about the Obamantor---I am more worried about the SIG's---I honestly believe that are founding fathers would have less a problem with McCain and Obama as they would with how business is being done on Capital Hill.

Could very well be...

but, there are others who are also equally willing to get their agendas in place.

OK, Chris---how do you propose that we change this so that we can maintain our roads and highways? What source of revenue would you have us tap into to build, to maintain, and to create new roads? Just interested here on this point. (15% is rather steep---so what is your other source of income to alleviate this taxation?)

I am all for the elimintion of unnecessary taxes, but how do we maintian our roads---isn't the idea that the ones who use it carry the obligation to maintain it? If we eliminate this tax, how do we maintain the roads, interstates, etc?

What other source of revenue do we utilize to maintain the ifrastructure here?
