PS: Also does the Z06 7 liter vs the 500 5.4 liter make a difference?

 

They did a comparison in one of the auto mags last year comparing the regular vette (405 hp) vs the 500 hp shelby. The vette won over all. So the Z06 will destroy it. The stang is just too heavy.

I personaly have fallen in love with the C6 Z06. I love the lines that car has and everything about it. For that sole reason I would purcase that one. But I would take both cars in a heart beat. They both have there pros and cons as do all vehicles. Both are completely bad a$$ cars!

Any car can be made faster for less money. I can make a 4 cyl car faster than the vette or the stang easily and this is talking from experience.

Your number 1 and 3 are opinions so I wont comment on them.


The regular Vette shoudl be compared to the shelby gt 500 not the Z06. The Z06 beats it in every catagory at a slightly higher price. The shelbys are about $55k and the Z06 is about $75k. The regular vette can be had for about $48k which is cheaper than the shelby and still beats it in an overall road test.

Now that is what I miss about Dallas... Sitting at a redlight and seeing a tricked out Z06 on one side and a Bentley on the other. I'd see 20 exotics on my way to work. NICE Z06!

 

I'd take the Vette. Better handling and it's still N/A, all you hear is that sweeeeet exhaust...
