Who would win?

I have a 2000 XLT Extended Cab F150 5.4L w/AF1 Intake, and 3.31 gears. My friend has a 98 Camaro, v6 3.8L. He has nearly 200,000 miles on it, while I have 137,000. Who would win this race?

If it was at the track, probably you. If it was on the street, neither. Catch my drift?

It's not a stick, your right it has around 200 hp. I know it was a "kiddish" question, but I was just curious, and he wanted to know what you guys thought too. I realize racing on the street can be dangerous and illegal, but what if it's at the track?

Oh and we will race, no question.

we used to find roads off the path or at night around industrial areas. Me personally i see no probelm running it up to 50 or 60 from a stop light on a nice concrete road when there is no traffic or side streets..call me crazy.
or maybe from a 50 punch on a freeway that has a 70 mph speed limit when it is late and there is no traffic.

i still think the car has you.

Most illegal street racing doesn't go for a full quarter mile.

In the 1/4 he would reel you in.
In a shorter race your torque gives you the edge.

The only stock camaro v6 numbers I could find were 16.6 in the 1/4.
Your truck with 3:31 would be hard pressed match that but, it could.

The above is 'off the showroom floor'.
Who knows about either when they are both well above 6 figures in mileage?

The winner would be whichever has been beat on the least over the last decade.
