Most Americanized vehicles.
And how much does Ford and GM spend on Canandian and Mexican employees? Thanks for playing, your turn.
Show me the facts or source for the "five times as much" statistic.
I hear 94% of statistics are made up on the spot.
So you think America is on an even playing field in this "Global Economy" you speak of? With all the rules and regulations surrounding manufacturing in the U.S. you honestly think we stand a chance to compete for manufacturing jobs against countrys like Mexico & China?

YES YES YES, I don't care about this one sided globalization crap, this is one huge factor why our countries, Canada and especially the USA are going down the crapper fast. Other countries and their companies are setting a standard that would and is driving us down. Worker's here making minimum wage with no benefits would still not compete with other countries because labor is not the main issue. Trade imbalances and zero taxation on imports would be a few notables.
Profits, yes, go offshore, that is NFG. Toyota workers spend their money locally within their communities, what little work force they actually have and on what, Chinese products from Wal-mart. Hate to bring it up, but it's true.
Oh, Norm, GM, Ford and CHrysler spend about as much on Canadian employees as they do American, but yes, a bit less due to country differences. Even still, wages, benefits, pensions etc are drops in the bucket to the companies in comparison to market share losses, material costs etc to name a few large ones. Think about where the money goes after that. Communities thrive on the spinoff of money. Now if everyone of them recipricated this and bought their product, it would be quite a different game. And thank you for playing! (why the f can't I leave a smiley anymore or thumbs up?)- dammit!
