Did a good deed.....

Well i was on my way to a friends house when i saw a downed Pine Tree crossing a road and a cop sitting on the other side. At first i drove by then i was like ah what the hell. I turned around and pulled up and got out. It was a pretty healthy looking Pine. About a 10" circumference i would guess. It fell straight over with the roots still in the ground.
I say to the officer "You want me to pull this outta the way."
Officer: "Well we have county clean up coming out and i doubt your truck could do it, but what would it hurt to try."
Me: "Well i'll give it a shot"
So i get my strap out and 2 shackles. Hook it up and put the truck in low range2wd. (I love manual transfer cases). I ease the clutch out and felt tension so i gave it some gas and pulled it fully off the road then i felt the roots grab. So i gave her a little more when it got tension and spun both tires and walked away with tree in tow. It pulled it like it was nothin. First time i have left 2 rubber strips on tarmac let alone while a cop was watching. The cop was rather impressed and said yeah those 4x4's are somethin else. I said "Sir that was only in 2wd" his response was "Oh.......well i appreciate it." haha. I did my strap up and drove off.

This was the only picture i got.
