Warranty work gone bad (new ride)

Well I went and did it. I was having problems with my truck. I had this problem awhile back ago and the service guy told me to to bring it in to check some stuff so he could order the right parts. I was told he would call me when he got them in. That was about 24,000 miles on it. I never heard anything and at 32,000 miles I asked again and he said the same. Now it had 42,000 and it it's been acting up. Because I didn't follow through and keep hounding them I was told I would have to pay for it instead of warranty paying for it. I got a quote for the two things and them doing it. It was basicly $2,500. I needed tires very soon and the day before I traded it in I found a bad ball joint. I wasn't going to get into a peeing contest because of the employee pricing was almost over. So I just bought a new truck.

What do you think?

Well that's certainly one way to get your problems fixed.

Diesel or gasser?

I must point out that if anyone has heard a diesel through a microphone (such as drive-thru) it produces an extremely high-pitched noise that somehow mics pick up. They are so loud we have to yell at the driver to turn off his engine. Well I had one of these come through today and suprisingly I could hear the driver no problem. Wasn't as quiet as a gasser, but its the quietest diesel I've ever heard. The old 7.2L smokers were the worst sounding. I swear, if one of those pulled up and your headset was on full blast, your heart will skip a beat when the mic engages...learned that this afternoon.

skip nay, are you keeping the F-150 or was it used as a down-payment for the rig?

I doubt you've been having a Cat 7.2 go through your drive through several times a day... I turn off my 7.3 in the drive thrus.
