. I hate to sound like a ford hater but i really dont understand, lining up the ranger next to the frontier how the ranger sells more. I guess people just know the name and arent familiar with the new frontier.

In all honesty, the ranger is just a poor truck all-around.
It's the cheapest small truck out there, thats the only reason it sells.
I considered a ranger before I purchase my F150, have had the unpleasurable experience of driving a few of them as test drives and rentals.

ehhhhhhhhh to the interior comment. i hate to do this because i am still loyal to ford but i feel the interior is trash on rangers. its old and outdated. it feels chincy after a year (my brother had 2) and just small inside. The frontier feels firm and you sit up high in it, with a lot of interior room. Of course im in a 4 door, ive never sat in an Ext cab fronty, but it cant be that much different, my seat isnt all the way back.

good point. wasnt even thinkin bout it.
right now im gettin 20 MPG with my 4x4 frontier, without a tonneau.

And dated... Good Lord. Is that a newer Ranger? It looks like most of the mid to late 90's Ford interiors.
