Florida kicks butt
using the word butt sucks. I am at my friends house here in Ft Lauderdale (plantation). Yeah this post is pretty useless but oh well. Tomorrow I am going up to Orlando and going to a bachelor party. Then my buddy is getting married on Saturday. I wil be heading back to Ft Lauderdale Sunday then flying back home Tuesday.

I hate where I live. The most entertaining part of town is Wal-Mart

I'd love to go back to Bean Town...
I dont hate Florida, I hate the part I'm in. 90's Chevrolets jacked up on mudders with the loudest popping noise anyone could hear with camo in their back window and Wal-Mart as the center of town? I'm in the sticks, baby! J-ville on the other hand is fun as ***
I was joking, and know you are too.
But, lets think about this...
Hurricanes happen what, every 2-3 years there?
Major earthquakes happen like once every century here (2 this century in 1906 and 1989, must be a new record). Not to mention, everything here is virtually earthquake-proof now. You should see the new Bay Bridge being built in SF right now, its crazy.
The last major quake in 89 killed 57 people. Since then, most buildings have been made even more earthquake-safe.
I dont think you can make anything hurricane-proof.
Either way, natural disasters suck. I will say though, feeling an earthquake and knowing it is happening is friggin awesome. The room starts rattling and stuff, its pretty cool.

You'd be surprised now. They've really changed the building codes, and the new houses are really designed to take it.
Still, I can't see myself living anywhere else.
Raptor, sorry your in the sticks up there. I think Pinellas county is one of the most heavily populated counties in FL.
