Funny.. i was watching Shallow Hal the other day (it was raining outside and it was the only thing on, ok??) In one scene he pulls into a gas station, the sign read $1.50 a gallon.. i almost cried. Those days are long gone...

still 3.87 here, crossing fingers that it stays. i've went past $80 for a fillup for the first time in the last couple of weeks. i love my truck and wouldnt ever think of trading in as much work as i've personally done to it, but damn this is getting pathetic, 4.50-5.00 will probably be my breaking point. i remember about 2 years ago gas finally dropped to about 1.75 here for a couple weeks and i thought it was heaven, now im wondering if that was an illusion. i need a shoulder to cry on, lol.

We are both equally boring each other then. The pointless drivel about oil at "an all time high" is about as exciting as watching the paint in my ghetto-fabulous home peel.

I can hardly wait to see the 100+ other posts over the next year as oil hits an "all time high". Rest assured every assinine post about high gas prices I'll be there to stamp with my seal of approval.

I tend to like the high price of gas because the kids that think I want my windows to rattle as they drive by my house blasting their c"rap" music can't afford to drive their Monte Carlos anymore. Now I drive all over blasting my annoying music without much competition!!

Betcha that it's $3.99 by Monday.

I went by Casey's today at 5:15. It was $3.68 and the place was packed. I drove by again at 5:45 and it was 3.79 and almost deserted. Every place else in town that I saw was at least a dime higher today than yesterday except the ones that went up yesterday.

I'm glad I filled up both cars at the first of the week. Usually I get screwed and need to fill up the day after a price jump.
