Your bluffing. Who's going to hit the polls for you in VA if you send them all down here. Besides, they have to go through Amish and Mennonite country to get here. Throw in all the Greeks and Arabs we have here in NC; and, they'll never make it to the polling booth before they hit the slaughterhouse. The Illegals will all be trying to get driver's licenses.

Gimme a break, will ya?

Is there any animal I can train/register that y'all don't eat down there?

I doubt it.

I assume you meant copulation?

With six years of hindsight at our disposal I ask, which of you is a Kool Aid drinker, and which is a visionary...

October 2002
Five months before the Iraq invasion
and gas was $1.52 a gal.
Your logic, or should I say lack there of, baffles me.

It's a truck forum.
That's what half the readers thought I typed anyway.

And for some of us old timers, copulation and capitulation are the same thing.

Sometimes I wish I hadn't made Raoul that promise
about goat jokes. I miss so many opportunities.

Speak plain, I can't follow your inyouwindow.
I think I type a self explanatory response to you.
Your responses to me are vague one liners from which I am supposed to grasp some hidden meaning or draw the 'right' conclusion as to where you are going.

Your intent may be obvious to you however, I have no facial expression, tone or inflection to work with.

I should use more smilies.

My opinion is your opinion on our military presence in Iraq is off. Basing your presidential vote solely on the war in Iraq is buffoonery to me. There are more pressing immediate issues to vote on.

Everyone can argue forever about the war causing this and not causing that, but basing a vote solely on the war in Iraq is total lunacy.

To me a highly uneducated voter would base their vote on that issue alone.

Flame away.

2002-2006 gas went from $1.52 to November 06 $2.23 a increase of $.71

november 2006-july 2008 $4.01 a increase of $1.78 so two and a half as much increase since the demoncrats took over the hor and senate in less than half as much time WOW!!!!! that is change isn't it

Thanks, I appreciate the answer. I know I hate it when I get assigned 'homework' around here.
"You obama supporters look at the 29 points I've outlined below and address each one (doublespaced)"

I bow to your opinion that I am highly uneducated.

Uneducated though I may be, I know that how you happen to characterize my vote, does not make it so.

That's as flaming as I allow myself to get these days.

If I imagine you saying that in a high pitched
voice with a lisp, it's hilarious.

As far as fuel prices taking off after the Dems took over congress... I like the way that looks, too; but, isn't that about the same time the Shell hostages were taken in Nigeria? You never hear much about how the Nigerian Oil issue has affected speculation over the past couple of years. Much more so than Iraq, where the oil is flowing. I wonder why that is?

Even though you are my sworn arch nemesis (due to the previous verbal beat downs and defeats you have inflected upon me for all to see)
I appreciate you taking up that point while I was otherwise engaged.

So you will cut off your nose to spite your face? Your smarter than that. This war is expensive with American lives. But it is the cheapest war in history for what we have accomplished. And if you haven't made a concerted effort to research what is happening there.. please do. If your going strictly by the news coverage, you are getting a very inaccurate picture. BTW.. your party was all for it when it started. They had the same info as Bush. The treasures you talk about are lost for ever. But the treasures of the future make it worth it.. if we win. Your choice is NOT to win. Then those lives truly did die for nothing. And obama last week said the troops won't come home until the time is right. That is a pretty open statement don't you think?
