Need Help ASAP

My Dad and I just got done cleaning our engines. My truck started right up, his didn't. It's a 1994 Bronco 5.8L Fuel Injected. The Bronco doesn't want to start now and I can't get him to stop trying to start it. It's starting to sound really bad and I know it's not good for the starter.

Anything we can do to fix it or tell him something to stop?

Thanks. Just pulled it and sprayed it out and she started up. Still runs a little on the rough side though.

let it dry over night an it'll be fine tommarow. I did that once, the first AND last time i clean my engine bay with a pressure washer
