my xbox 360 disc drive has crapped on me and needs replacement. one thing i cant find the answer to is, can i replace a hitachi drive (what i have) with the samsung or benq drive?

i need to know if the board from the hitachi will swap to another brand drive. im having trouble finding a replacement hitachi drive and the samsung can be found for cheap.
