Gas prices explained...
Just had a really bad experience. Make sure you dont search for "baby oil and bobies" It's very very unpleasant. So lesson of the day, before doing a google search double check the spelling
I am all for em drilling off the coast... problem is:
Its going to cost money to get that project started. Who do you think will foot the bill ? WE will, they will simply raise gas prices to help cover their expenses. Now prices shoot up, a couple years later (gas being at, lets say $6.00/gallon) they have found enough of a reserve to make a difference (which couldn't happen... but lets just say) and the prices start coming down to roughly $4/gallon. Wouldn't have saved a whole lot of money, and just might of caused a spike. Why, if we all gladly start paying $6/gallon would they ever lower the price ? That just lowers their profits. They are simply trying to find their peak, where the money actually just begins to hurt us and THEIR wallet. They are trying to find the breaking point between phenominal, record breaking profits and where we begin to stop paying for gas. Just my 2 cents.
