So a buddy of mine at work has recently had his truck broken into on back to back nights. Since then he has made it impossible to break off the door handles from the outside to break into the truck. Only problem is his viper doesnt always pop his locks. Ford wants 50 bucks to give him his 5 digit code. Is there anyway to get around that? Or anyone here who works for ford who could punch in his VIN and tell us what it is?

if its a 04-08 its on the back wall, on the module

if 97-03 its somewhere in the truck i believe but not sure where

 

Isn't it also on the lil credit card thingy in with the owners manual?! Or is it a diff. code?

My 02 has a white sticker with big numbers to the driver's side of the steering column. Slide under the steering wheel and look up at the underside of the dash with your head almost on the brake pedal. 5 digit number in half inch block type.

 

You can program any code you want it to be.. as long as you have the original code.
