here ya go mace itself I dont think is legal anymore but the pepper spray is definatly a attention getter, but you want to go for a foam type there is less back spray in the wind

Go to a local police supply company. Thats where i got ALL my duty gear. They usually carry pretty good mace. Personally i advice agenst mace because people on drugs cant feel pain, stun guns on the other hand dont subdue the person with pain, they temporarily paralize the attacker with just a 4-6 second jolt.

I dont carry a stun gun or mace, but if its one or the other, i would choose a stun gun. You can pick up a decent one for around $70

EDIT- Make sure checking local laws before hand. If she has the stungun in her purse and she is pulled over, its a possiblity the police could charge her with carrying a concealed dangerous weapon.

stun gun = asking for problems..

restraining order + police involvement = safe

Taser.com

Don't waste money on mace. It is not effective on a lot of different people. The taser is a different story. No matter what drugs a person is on, the muscles know what to do when electricity is run through them. From first hand knowledge prior to being issued a Taser X26, it hurts like a B...

Tasers are fine and dandy, if you're willing to spend the time training with them. You get one shot only, better make it count.

If you're dead set on mace or pepper spray, look for Fox Labs 5.3 - pain in a can.
