But the ones we grow for ourselves have a softer skin{not good for shipping} are about 3lb per $1.00 now. Man they are good this year.

I work at Wendy's in N. Fla and we just started serving our tomatoes again today. I personally prefer them off, I like my burger nice a hot, not wet and cold, but I love them with everything else
