Glad to have you back. I drove up to Tulsa for work yesterday. 500 total miles and 1 hour worth of work. Normally I would have flown but I had to bring some stuff with me that isnt allowed on a plane.

i drive back and forth to louisiana from albuquerque.... 40 most of the way... i know for a FACT its been at least 3 years going on 4. but after that hey it pretty much opens up to dallas and then i hit the either hit the back roads going down to fort polk or i hit the interstate to shreveport and THEN hit the back roads....

personal best though was from around lafayette, la to dallas,tx took me about 4 1/2 hours. INSANE road trip

good job on seeing the country. i used to do otr with my grandpa when he drove flatbed. rode with him every chance i had for 5 years... i'm soo lucky because i got to see more of America than most people ever will....

and you're right, the courtesy on the highway is gone. i'm one of the few people i know that use blinkers etc. people aren't considerate anymore. and fyi, to this day i STILL give ultimate respect to truckers on the road. they have the right away
