Mean Dogs

Anyone been bitten by a dog before?

I was over at a friends house last night and came very close to being bitten by a lab/greatdane mix. The dog hated me! I even tried to give it treats and talked nice to it. I was so ready to slam it by its neck into the wall if it was going to attack me.

I also have been bitten in the leg by an english bulldog that apparently didnt like my brown boots for some reason. them dogs got a mean bite and hurt like hell.

When I was about 16 I got chased by two white german shepards in thsi girl's back yard and as I was jumping on the roof of the house from the picnic table one of the dogs bite me in the butt!

what do you smell like a cat or something?

Sorry couldn't resist.
to answer your question I have been bitten by one of my pitbulls when I had him. Play fighting and he got a little carried away. Interesting sensation knowing you caused it and so can't be mad at him. He had good control of himself and only let you know the limit was reached. It bled a little though. Once in the neck, once in the thigh right by the family jewels.

My own dog has bitten me twice- but she's my baby- 14 years old...

I got out the bed one morning, feet first, not looking where I was going, and stepped on her, she let me have it. The other time, she bit me was at the vet. She hated the vet, and I warned them to muzzle her- "Oh no, she won't bite..." I got bit. I said, "See, if you had listened to me, no one would've gotten hurt."

My other dog, when I was a little boy- bit me a few times. I was teasing her though. She didn't play that "shake your finger at her" stuff. That's **** her off quick. She broke the skin, but nothing to harsh. She was only 15 lbs, or so.

My big dog (Zeus) bit me, as I tried to help that fool. He had a bone stuck between his top teeth. So, I wrestled him down, and took my finger and popped the bone from between his teeth. That fool got up and bit me in the face. I punched the s**t out of him, right in the rib cage. I was about 14 - 15 then.

But, the most vicious attack was in 2004. My newborn son came home that day, and my Mom had come down to see him, and brought her dog. He is very much her dog, and follows her step for step (Like his crazy 14-year old sister that bites too- same litter). So, The baby was going arm to arm, and after Mom held him for a while, he began to cry, so I went to pick him up.

I guess hearing the baby cry, he didn't know if I was helping or hurtign the baby, and that joker lit in on me, something fierce. My wife is hollering, mom was hollering, sister and mother-in-law hollering, and this dog woudl not let me go. I was tryign to stomp him off my legs, but about 1.578 secods of that made me realize, he wasn't gonna let go that easy. He's only about 35 - 45 lbs, so I didn't want to really drop the soup bone on him, but I had to do something- so I started slapping the s**t out of his head. After three rights, and two lefts, he finally let go- then had the audacity too look at me and wag his tail.

If that wasn't my mother's dog- I'd have choked the s**t out of him.
But, I came face to crotch with my neighbor's 95 lb. Pit Bull last week. They just opened teh door, and let that big SOB run out of the house. There could have been kids out there or anything- and he ran right up to me, and I'm like, Oh-S**T! I can't make it to the truck (locked) and can't get back in the house (locked). So, I did what any self respecting man would do. I hollered at the owner!

"Hey! You better call your dog!" Fortunately, he was a big nice-guy.

Yeah, you can beat a Lab, Doberman, or Rottweiller off you. But, if a pit latches onto you, he'll let go when he gets ready- not because you're hitting him.

That is true! Dogs can sense whether you are genuine or just a creep! The OP had better stay away from the K-9's............

That is not true. Dogs cant judge character. Some dogs are just crazy. I have met many dogs that like me and were fine with me. I am guessing I have came accross at least 1000 dogs in my lifetime and 4 didnt like me.

Got bit by a German Sheppard in the face as a kid. Damn dog left one of his teeth in my forehead.

I have encountered many dogs in the houses, woods and areas surrounding homes of drug dealers. Earlier this year, I encountered the biggest Pit Bull I have ever seen! I was sliding on my belly thru a field of 4 foot tall weeds and grasses in the dark to make an entrance on a mobile home in the middle of a 15 acre field(hard to sneak up on type dealer) and about 200 yards prior to the trailer I heard a metal clink sound. Got a little further and there was King Daddy of all pit bulls standing there, 1/2" diameter chain around his neck, tied to 6 8"x16" cement blocks and he could still drag them. He only stood there with his teeth showing, never made a sound. Needless to say, he never got the chance to make a sound.

I've informed more than one person with a yippy-yappy-nippy little rodent of a dog that if their adorable hound puts one tooth in me there will be a "doggy funeral" the next morning......

lol...good catch!

Here is the story from the dog incident...

This girl I am dating (Tiffany) invited me over to her friends house for dinner. Her friend is a lesbian and has a lesbian lover that lives with her. So it was me, tiffany, her friend, and her lesbian lover. I am assuming this dog never meets men because the dog was fine with all the women and hated only me.

Dogs love me, I have never been bit. I visit 2 or so customer homes a day and have for over 5 years now. Probably run across 3-4 dogs a week and I am invading their territory. I move slow, let them smell me and never make quick movements. Within 15 minutes they are following me around waiting for me to pet them.

that's funny, we used to have a pit bull and a chihuahua mix, two dogs. The pit was allowed to run within our fence the chihuahua would be chained up within it. the elec man came to read the meter, bends down and says isn't that cute the little one is chained up, she must be the biter. he promptly lost a finger tip off of his glove. she did indeed bite that was why we chained her up. he left slightly embarassed

Scott: I am willing to bet that this dog wouldnt like you. I seriously think this dog hates men. She said the only man the dog has ever met was her father. This dog is around females all the time. The dog was being protective of her. As long as I wasnt on the couch and I stayed in the kitchen area the dog was pretty much Ok with me being there.

And no I wasnt a dog catcher....lol
