I can't see Ron Paul going anywhere fast in this election unfortunatly. So, look at who you have to pick from and take the lesser of the evils. I'm voting Mc Cain this year as well. I won't bad talk Billary and Obama - their own personalities do just fine telling eveyone who they really are.

Thank you, that's exactly why I'm pushing for McCain now because he is the lesser of the two evils, between Obama and McCain. I'd love for Ron Paul to go into the White House as our President. However the media really royally screwed him. I was going to just write Ron Paul in but that's not a good idea if you think about it.

Ron Paul was interesting. He was pulling me toward him. I, too, feel he got a raw deal. I agree. Seems like the media made him out to be a doofus. By the way, loved Huckabee's idea of eliminating the IRS. Rock on. - Og

Interesting... It just seems one of the Most important issues in this election is the War.

I don't know how you can go from supporting a Guy that wanted to Pull ALL troops from Iraq (and everywhere else in the world) back to the US to Supporting a guy that wants to stay in Iraq for the next 100 years...

Are you saying you don't understand the logic? It's a easy principle. I could vote for Ron Paul. However it'd be a waste of a vote, don't you think? Or I could vote for McCain instead of allowing my vote to go to waste and not count against Obama. I'd rather deal with the things that McCain wants than the things Obama wants. It's very rare that you share every view with the nominees.

However, something I feel very strongly about is our constitution. Obama wants to re-write the second amendment, so he's out for me. Among countless other things, especially him being a racist and an ignorant person. If you can't see it than I'm sorry but I really don't have to justify it to anyone. I'm just trying to enlighten you on my logic.

No problem. I'm glad to see a few people with the same view as ours out there still.

Exactly Writing in R.P. wouldn't do any good. In fact, you'd be doing worse by NOT voting for McCain (as you pretty much stated). Obama is a tool in my book. I'd vote Billary before him as well. I don't honestly see where he is getting this huge following from. He is looking to step on the toes of millions and he doesn't care. Indeed, he is nothing more than a smooth talking bigot. Too bad all that counts is money in the world today. I think R.P. woulda been a real good change for our society

I just can't figure out how someone can Flip Flop on such a big issue... sure, you can have the same views on ALL issues, but this is a Big one.

I personally see McCain and Obama Even when it comes to the 2nd Ammendment. I mean, Obama hasn't Co-sponsered Anti Gun Legislation like McCain has...

So what are the Top 3 Biggest issues for you??

It's not a flip flop, it's a compromise. I just told you my logic, do you happen to miss that pretty long reply !? Jesus. Just because you view things differently doesn't make me wrong or you wrong. How do you see them even when it comes to the 2nd Amendment? Obama has slipped up and said he wanted to ban all semi automatic weapons. It's a shame, I'll have to buy a musket to protect myself ...

Now when you are asking me about my Top 3 big issues? As in what? Why I don't want Obama? Why I want McCain? .. or just the Top 3 big reasons why I'd elect a President. The question is VERY vague.

I'm glad you see where I'm coming from ... It's not some insane logic that has never been done before in an election. It's basically every election ...

1. not voting in a bigot

2. obama has virtually no voting record he has voted PRESENT OVER 100 times he doesn't want his positions known my question to you is how can you vote for someone when YOU don't know where he stands

3. yes McCain has voted poorly in the past but he has never supported a outright england style ban both of the dolts on the Dem side made no effort to hide the fact they despise the 2nd amendment.

all of you that are pushing for obama, you want to be mothered by your government you just spit back whatever the Communist News Network feeds you without looking deeper. In fact I hereby declare it is no longer obama it is now obama mama go suckle on the teat of complete dependence.

the thing in life that is making me the happiest right now is the fact that spell check does not recognize obama and I get to ignore him in every post

Wow, you're so right. Wait a second, you joined today and have zero posts, no thanks !!
Ouch, you got me with your mighty wit. You must have to post 1500 times worth of B.S with out giving any facts to know what you are talking about.

Edit: This was like my 7-10th post and it still says I have zero.

Relax, I'm not trying to give you a hard time, just trying to understand..

What are the main ISSUE'S you're concerned with.

Examples:

The War
The Economy
Health Care
Budget Deficits
2nd Ammendment
Education
Environment

Typically people vote for people because the candidate SHARES the SAME views on certain issues, Especially Big issues like the war..

Constitution, The War, and The Economy. McCain wants to uphold the constitution. McCain wants to stay in Iraq until we can pull out, safely. The economy has to fix itself. I don't agree with a lot but I don't agree with anything Obama wants. So there's my choice. I know you're not giving me a hard time but you know how this politic threads get.

Exclamation

remedial class for general discussion

1. If you offend easily go away you do not belong here.

2. If you have not had several conversations with a member and you try to put him down expect to get flamed like a weenie in a volcano.

3. If you think you know it all and are just here to stir the pot you do not belong here go away troll.

4. there are times to be witty and times when a serious answer is expected if you cannot tell the difference go away you do not belong here

5. Gd posts do not count to your post count the post count only goes with other areas of the site so your 7-10 posts do not mean ***** you can pretty much multiply the post count from anybody in Gd regularly by at least a factor of 10

6. spell check is our friend download it use it.

7. if any of these lessons are not to your liking just go ahead and say so I'm sure someone here will be nice enough to help you out.

Welcome to General Discussion

Mine are Similar but the results come out Different:

Economy

The Economy is BAD right now. We're on a borderline recession. The Dollar is WEAK, driving up inflation. Unemployment made a Record Jump Today. I'm ready for a different approach (the Economy was good the last time the Dems were in control)

Advantage Obama

War

Never saw Iraq as a threat to the US. Was against it from the Beginning. I agree with you that it's Time to get out.

Advantage Obama

Immigration

The Republican's have been "Talking" a tough game on securing our borders but they have NOT stepped up. I think it's because they don't have the money to do it and invest in Homeland Security, Primarily because of the War. I'm ready for a different approach as I see McCain carrying the Exact same Torch.

If anything I see McCain as being MORE liberal towards illegal Immigrants. They've had their chance, Time for a change.

Advantage Obama

The "scare tactic" issues don't really concern me. Everyone thought guns would be banned when Clinton was elected, it never happened.

Everyone thought Abortion would be banned when Bush was elected, Now you can get an abortion by taking a Pill....

Everyone though Welfare would be expanded when Clinton got in, Fact, Welfare was REDUCED and Reformed (cut) more than in the Reagan years..

But Some people really buy into these kinds of things though....

I'm sorry, but I DON'T buy the arguement that Obama is a Radical Racist Muslim trying to take over the world... Seriously...
