I don't trust any politicians.
You know how you know when a politician is lying ? Whenever they open their mouth to say something.
Seriously though, I couldn't give a $#!+ less if the next president is green with purple stripes. For that person to do any worse than Bush has, they are going to have to work really hard at it ! Our current president is just dumber than dirt. As far as politicians go (who happen to be black) I always enjoyed listening to Colin Powell. Of course he might have screwed us, as president too.... But to me he just sounded believable, and intelligent. Of course that's neither here or there, as apparently, he didn't want the job. I sure can't blame him.
Anyhow, I think all of this is just pissing in the wind, as I don't believe the earth as we know it, will exist for too many more years anyway. WW III. Nuclear. Over oil.
