That has got to be one of the most confusing signs I have ever read.

I would take the pictures to parking enforcement and ASK them to explain it and then question the ticket

If I pulled up there and saw that sign, I know I would not park there. I would assume that somewhere in all that, it would be telling me not to.

Its the front of my girl friends building where she lives so I am over there at least a couple times a week. I park there all the time as does everyone else as long as it is after 6pm. The whole side of the street is the same way for about 4-5 blocks.

I just dont think the reason for the ticket fits for that sign. THe ticket also has the address of the building so they know where it took place.

as a former.... *gulp* Parking enforcement officer... (ya, ya, ya... but good pay, alright ?) I would bet money they throw it out.

Bring your pictures, bring a good defense, be polite with all your yes sir's and ma'am. Be respectful, and simply explain how that doesn't make sense, and how that sign implies you can park after 6pm.

** another good tip, over here in CA, they can't tow your vehicle unless it tells you why it can be towed, includes tow truck company name, and number, Police Department name and number, the sign must be infront, in a visible area between 3'-7' tall, for every parking stall which it applies, letter must be a certain size, and can't have any graffitti. Basically, most of the tow away signs around here aren't "legal" and won't hold up in court. If they "wrongfully" tow your vehicle, the city and/or tow company must pay double the fine/impound fees (plus all expenses due to the hassle)

Lucky you didn't get towed, in downtown Dallas...

I thought that scenery looked familiar- my wife used to work down there, off Pacific at the Thanksgiving Tower.

Im supposed to go over there here in about an hour or so. You think if I put the green parking ticket on my windshield they will think its already ticketed? She wants to watch a movie with me so I told her I was going to bring over Rambo!

Last night I was over there again and I left at about midnight. This time I parked down the street at another location. There were three vehicles parked in the spot I got a ticket and all of them were ticketed. There must be some new guy working this area at night and he is confused. This just started happening the other day.
