Is Anyone On Here Starving or Not have Food to Eat
Overall I think the majority have been a strain economically and criminally. I still find a few hard working ones who are always a pleasure to talk to and are of good nature. I now work in schools and there is a large problem with the one's from New Orleans. I've noticed all that would be required would be a good butt-whippin from mom or dad but apparently they are too busy to tend to their children. It's a shame really that a specific area has such a negative view to somewhere they were welcomed with open arms. They had every opportunity to make the best of a tragedy, few chose to do that though.
This thread went a little off topic. I dont think that race matters. Anyone can be or become homeless or suffer from starvation due to a severe finacial situation. It can happen to me or you so please let's all think like smart men and not step on anyone's toes. This forum is filled with members of many ethinic backgrounds.
As a police officer it makes my job even more interesting. When they first came I lived and did security in a decent section 8 apartment complex. I ended up fighting about 10 of them on separate occasions and every time they had the same line..."I'm from New Orleans". As I stuffed their bloody *** in the transport unit I always made sure to put on my most red-neck voice and say, "Well Welcome to Texas Partner, you just earned yourself a trip to the country's 3rd largest county jail. Enjoy"
