Nice spin, cool video. I have definately done that more than once during on track experiences. The best part is cleaning the dirt out of your interior afterwards. It gets absolutely everywhere and a week later you will still have dust blowing out of your vents. I still love every minute of track time I can get. Here is a couple pics of my car at Laguna Seca

The infield road course trumps the big oval whenever they have pace cars out on it. I think i went around the oval for 4 laps. i made about 65 on the roadcourse. No pace cars

Nice.... You could easily pick out the rookie driver... Not smooth on the gas, brakes, or steering, and atrocious lines through the curves... It was only a matter of time...

No offense but that would of made the situation way worse. They have track crews and rescue crews for a reason. If he would of tried to pull over some one else could of wrecked bad just trying to avoid him pulling over and what not. You have good intentions but it just isnt worth it.

Like Nuc said...you NEVER stop and especially don't get out. It just puts more people in danger.

Aside from that, SICK video. Man that track looks like SOOOOOOOOOO much fun

hell i want to see how the truck handles on a course like.. figuring with the lowering kit and sway bars....

but the damn traction bars would probably screw up the rear sticking

It's not like he plowed into a wall at 120, he spun out into the sand, gravel, and grass at what? Maybe 70? I'd bet the worst thing it did was shred a set of tires, gouge the rims, and maybe chip the paint off the rockers...

And, as already mentioned, that's what the track crews are paid to do... They are trained professionals and were likely on-scene in less time than it would have taken 1fast4.6 to park, unbuckle, get out of the car, pull his protective gear off, and run over to him.

That's smart, get out of your car on a race truck to help someone else who has simply spun out into the sand pit.
