I have only recieved about 4, not too much for 7 years of driving IMO.

First one was when i was 16 for speeding, doing 90 in a 70mph zone ($200)

2nd was sometime when i was 17 or 18 for no seat belt ($50)

3rd was for failure to come to a complete stop at a stop sign ($80 i think)

and 4th was last year for speeding again, 42 in a 25. ($150 because the cop was nice)


My insurance company HATES me....

 

Not had one for a long time & I would like to think that it will stay that way, but this new truck does seem to move a bit!!

1 ticket ever failure to dim my high beams on a country rd at 3 am and that was about 2years ago

 

Kind of ironic this topic comes up a day after I get a warning for driving over a double-yellow line. Got my one and only ticket about 18 months ago for speeding 45 in a 35. Driving for 4 years.

 

Well in my 11yrs of driving I have had 6 tickets, all were for speeding except one which was for an illegal left turn. 4 of those tickets were when I had a bright red Infiniti G35 coupe. I learned my lesson, I will never again buy a bright colored car. I must say though I was pulled over probably about 5 times when I had my slammed S10 with exhaust for no reason at all. I guess I just looked suspect, they would always have a bogus excuse and let me go with a warning. I guess I learned my lesson about that too.

 

Yup, two speeding tickets and one reckless driving ticket. I had a old person slam on their brakes in this little car at a green light for no reason. I slammed on the brakes as soon as they did but I was in a bigger vehicle and it wasn't happening so that's why I got the reckless driving ticket. One speeding ticket the cop was hiding behind a tree off of his motorcycle and jumped out in front of the road. I got burned because I was only speeding to pass someone. I was speeding none the less so it was my fault.

I almost got a ticket for a improper start in the Mustang. Than recently I had a LEO harass me about my brake light covers. He said they were illegal but they are DOT Approved and even say them on the cover. I was on a four lane road which had curbs on each side, no place to pull into, etc. So I pulled over as far as I could and put my hazards on, turned the car, rolled down all of the windows, and put my hands on the steering wheel. The cop came up to my window and yelled at me for not pulling up on the curb. I wanted to slap him for thinking a lowered Mustang was going to pull up on a 8" curb. After that he made me get out of the vehicle because he said he didn't feel safe. Eventually I told him that if he wasn't going to ticket me for anything that I was going to leave since I needed to be some where. I had $400 worth of meat in the trunk of the car so I needed to get it home. After that he just walked back to his car to get my drivers license and insurance.

None so far. I've had a couple close calls that could have gotten UGLY but have yet to had any major problems.

 

I have tickets to the FC Dallas vs. LA Galaxy game on Sunday.

 

Year's ago I got 5 in one night. Got wrote up for drag racing, speeding, reckless operation, illegal exhaust "open headers" and running racing slick's on the street. I've reformed a lot since then!

 

Two in ten years of driving, one for speeding and the other for rolling through a red light.

 

2 in 39 years of driving. The last one was about 2 months ago.

50 years of driving, about 8 tickets for moving violations. Several warning tickets plus 3 or 4 for "disturbing the peace" as a teenager with loud exhaust.

 

Flintstones cars had no exhaust.
