Yep, which is the rear right, then the rear left, then the front right, then the front left.

Luckily I got a lot of brake fluid, so I've got plenty to do the whole system.

My friend is really bargaining out on this... I wasn't planning on flushing the brake system.

Finally, say, with all the parts and labor... how much would this type of job cost him at a dealer or a really good shop?

He spent:
4 rotors: $260
4 brakes: $120
1 Caliper: $130
4 slide pins: $35
2 bolts: $5
Total: $550

My time:
Jacking the vehicle up on jackstands, taking the wheels off, removing rusted brake bolts, snapping 4 slide pin bolts, snapping 2 caliper mounting bolts, needed to machine out the stuck bolts (I did it) total of about 1 hour, reinstalling brakes and mounting hardware, bleeding brake system, and putting wheels back on, then do a test drive. So far I'm up to 7 hours on this project... I plan on having 2 more hours on it, if nothing else goes wrong.

He also wants me to change his plugs and do an oil change.

So how much should I charge him?

I know this work combined would nearly cost him over $1000... probably of that about $400 in labor if done in a regular shop... maybe more. Anyone know?

If he is a good friend, charge him $25 a wheel for the brake job, and $25 for the tune up if it's real easy.

Oh the tune up will be easy...

I think $25 a side sounds good... plus the $25 for the tuneup...

$125 isn't too much to ask...

If it was in our shop he would be paying 90.00 an hour. I don't think he should complain about 125.00.
