Whats the fastest you have gone?
130+ in a '66 GTO I had, used to run in the Super Stock/C class, speedo only read 120, setup for drag racing but also a street runner. Used to run 12.7 @ 109mph in quarter. Also ran a '66 Corvette that ran right on the National record in the late 60's. I ran a 10.8 @ 128mph 1/4. Running A/Stock 427/425 hp. 4.56 rear, balanced & blueprinted engine. 4 speed Muncie with Hurst line lock running on 7" wide M&H slicks. Good old day's!
160ish - ACR Viper
Some guy paid cash for a new Excursion on his way out of town one day. Left the keys with the sales manager and told him to "have fun" for a week before turning it in to Dodge for it's tune-up.
My friend didn't like the passenger seat too much.
That thing was a blast.

About 135 mph in a '67 Mustang fast back with road racing suspension and a LeMans cammed 289 w/ 351 heads, 4 speed top loader and 3.50 gears. Saw over 6,000 rpm. The front end was getting pretty light.
About 110 MPH on I-20 (Chevy Cavalier VL Coupe).
120 - 130 on I-10 (Toyota Supra & Chevy Camaro RS)
105 on US 75 in Dallas (BMW 745 Li)
120 on Dallas North Tollway, 635, 114, & 360 in Dallas/Arlington. (Nissan Maxima)
120 on DNT, in friends souped up 1997 Mustang GT. I didn't want to push it much harder (not mine).
110 Autobahn 3 (Toyota Tercel, steering wheel shaking).
120 MPH in UH-60 Blackhawk, doign nap-of-the-earth flying for 45 minutes in South Korea. (That'll punk any known rollercoaster)
550 MPH @ 41,000 feet. (Boeing 747)

GPS works.
I am not positive but I think I have gone over 97mph in my truck and its stock.
your speedo is off. my truck stock would go to 100, but thats because my speedo was off 3mph. Now that i have custom tunes i can easily push it to 120.
