Found On Road Dead
Driving down 84 today, coming back from Toys R Us. . . Traffics slow, I get in the shoulder to exit, I see a big FORD grille layn on the curb. I pull off on the road after I get clear on the highway, onto a side street. Walk back about 1/4 mile to get it, cop stops in the shoulder. . .gets out. . .
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?"
"walking back to pick-up a grille on the side of the road"
"YOU CANT WALK ON THE HIGHWAY, GET BACK UP THERE!"
"Yea, whatever."
Walk back, he follows me the whole way, once I'm clear of the road he takes off. I hop back in the truck, back track down the town and get back on 84 E. Before I do this I take 3 tie down straps I have in the back of my truck. I tie em up, rig em so theres 4 hooks in 4 different positions. Now I go back on the highway. Get near it, 35 MPH, mind you traffic is still slow. Chuck it out window, miss the grille, smack the side of my truck withb all the hooks.
FAWK IT!
Get back to the dorms and call Lopez. Has a 2 door hatch Civic, Lets go, I gotta get sumin. Flying down the highway, he pulls off, doing about 35 I reach out and miss it!
RETRY!!!
With seatbelt off, halfway out the car I got it!!
At first I thought it was off an F-150, than a Crown Vic, but its off a Tauras. . .

no, its actually found on road dead. Chevy would be always #1 on race day.

I love my Ford truck and would never trade if for a chevy, but they do build a good vehicle, just bc we dont like it does not mean its crap!
