Pulled the four speed (to go in Mello) and gettin' ready to mount a FREE C6 in there. Picked up a TC and flexplate for 50bucks to make it work. Anyone need a 300 flywheel?





Found out why the beast didn't shift. Clutch was hardly worn, but jacked anyway. Not sure why...



Picked up a free cassette deck so I can listen to the tunes while screwin' around with trannys in the parkin' lot. It's hard bein' a pimp...

 

Cut the exhaust off so my supervisor can use the second cat to pass inspection, and I can use the good muffler to pass OJ's inspection.



Plan is to get this back runnin' in the next few weeks, take it muddin' once, and then sell to pay for...



...the continuing cleanup of Mello. Color matched spray in liner is gonna cost 600 for the 8' bed over the siderails. Got the rims cleaned up and repainted, mounted the two random 31"s I had on OJ last year...



...white letters in on the back of Mello there, and a decent set of 235s up front.

This allowed me to pick up two new BF Goodrich's for the rear of OJ to have him sittin' on now all wagon wheels with even 235's. (good before and after shot of OJ's body work too)



Anyway, I'm goin' to bed. 12hr mid shifts suck...

Nice project. I'm looking to start one myself here. I really like the old '70s chevys, as we have one that is pretty modded on ther ranch. I think i may have found one too, gonna go check it out next week.
