I guess the AC would have been nice in the 260 but this 200 is nice.
Let us know how it works out when you get a chance. It looks like I'm gonna be traveling to and from Florida for work a few times, and we have family out in Texas, so I'm kinda thinking about buying a GPS myself. A friend at work loaned me his Garmin Streetpilot C340 for my trip down next week. It looks cool, and I've found them online for cheap since it's an older discontinued unit.

If you have a laptop, look at the alternative - a USB GPS module with mapping software. Microsoft and De Lorme both have excellent kits.

Do they come with everything you need? I've been thinking about one of these as well. That center console is a nice place to set my laptop.

This one looks interesting as well, but does MS Streets and Maps come with it?
For $50, why not?

USB GPS's and a laptop are utterly inconvienient for most people. Touchscreen and small packaging that allows it to be on the dash or windshield are better than a laptop in the passenger seat.

For as often as I'll use it, or need it, I could get one for as little as $30, and it would still have the latest chipset. I'd be willing to live with the inconvenience for that price, taking into consideration the necessity of it, for me.

I still don't know if those prices include the program.
