Pat, you should be fine on those wheels. You'll be cruising slow anyways.

Patrick, the Ford tech that handles the security stuff says my BCM does not have a VSM. The part will cost me $171 and he will wire it in.

yea makes sense because you dont have any kind of alarm already right? Well factory stuff?

b.c i have a Ford alarm tied into the vehicle with that still uses the factory key pad.

"Wiring it in" is a pathetic way to make it sound like he's actually doing something. If its just the VSM, its a simple unplug one connector on the BCM, and put the VSM in line between the connector and the BCM.

So unplug once, plug in jumper harness, and its done

I dont think there is even a need to program the BCM or VSM with any Ford test equipment

He will have to program in a 5 digit code for the factory code that doesn't exist, won't he. I have the key fobs and an aftermarket alarm.

Some exectutive decisions are just so difficult! Some life decisions should not have to be made! I solved the problem.

A vendor brought donuts. I could not decide between the glazed crueller or the glazed blueberry. So, I took them both!

Definitely the blueberry! Especially warmed in the microwave for about 10 seconds - they just melt in your mouth. Now I'm hingry - or hungry.

Board meeting at noon, so I'll be rummaging through the kitchen cabinets for lunch today.
