My Parents got a 32" 1080P Samsung LCD flat screen HDTV. I went over there and helped them hook it up. They have some good HD channels by hooking it up directly to cable line, and through the cable box it's just like before. I hooked it up so they can switch between the two. My Dad would have never figured it out. It was a mess back there with the old school Technics AV receiver, Sony betamax, Samsung vcr/dvd combo, and the cable box, all connected with coax y's and splitters. I basically saved them $10 a month in HD cable charges.

I need yalls opinion on something. I'm looking on ebay for a center console and while I'm leaning toward the XLT console I'm also wondering if I should get the flow through console and rig up something for where the shifter would go. I'm not wanting to move my column shift, but just put something else there instead. Thoughts?

XLT consoles are an easy swap. I did one in my truck. Remove/replace swap. Flow throughs are really hard to do.

I got my XLT console off ebay a few years back for $195 shipped. It was used but there were no flaws, it was like brand new condition.

There are 2 XLT's that are the same color as my interior that I'm watching right now. One has a buy it now of $149.00 and the other has a starting bid of $19.00

Eventually I may do that down the road. Along with a wood grain Lariat kit.

The $149 one isn't too bad. The scuffs on the back won't be seen since you're a single cab. The 6 day auction one looks in very good condition.

I'd bid on the $19 one and see how it goes knowing you could get the other one. You could also check salvage yards.

Exactly what I'll be doing.

Thanks Patrick. Just one question - do you think that particular grill could be painted red?

I bought the grill. I'm watching the console for a few days since there is no "buy it now" option and there are 4 days left on the auction.

Thanks again Patrick.
