I just got my Margaritaville newsletter and found out that the Jimmy Buffett concert in Frisco is going to be in April this year. I'm kind of bummed out about that. They have it in Pizza Hut Park in Frisco every year and normally it's in the warmer months. That is an open venue and it's going to be cold and windy after the sun goes down.

That's a given! Somehow though, it just doesn't seem right. I don't mind tailgating in the cold for a football game, but for Buffett, it just seems like it should be hot outside. It's hard to get into the "tropical" mindset when you're freezing your **** off.

It gets cold at night - and so windy there. I looked back at the 2008 schedule. They actually held in April last year too. Was ok during the day, but not after dark. They should know that if they have it in the heat of the summer, they will sell more beer and margaritas!

Might as well be. It's definitely not tropical! I'll just have to be sure and take my snuggie with me.
