The wind is not too bad, unless you have a slice.

Sometimes it's like I golf with knives.

It's funny, the club I slice with the most is the most blunt club in the bag, the driver.

A slice is created by a swing with an arc that comes from the outside in, across the ball. Very, very difficult to correct that swing when there is such a large obstacle in front of the upper arms.

More than likely trying to kill the ball. IMO the golf swing isn't hard to understand, just the mental aspect of doing it is tough.

Yes, that's my swing. I've been working on correcting it as my stomach has grown.

The biggest problem with most of us that didn't start as kids went out and started wacking ***** and our muscels learned a terrible swing pattern. I forget how many "new" swings it takes for the brain and muscles to learn a new pattern, but it's an unbelieveable number. That's why it's so hard to break a bad swing habit.

I know, my slice used to be much worse. I've worked on my grip and my swing. Much better these days, I don't kill the ball any more, just put it in play.

I used to aim left all the time to play the slice, not so much any more.

The Golf channel has helped my game tremendously. I am very mechanically inclined, so the mechanics of the grip and swing are intriguing to me. Kind of comes naturally. Other things in life, not so much.

I used to have a pretty good swing when i played a lot. Now, each swing is an adventure.
