Need to pick up the 15 yr old grandson after school and take him to Houma to pick up a suit. I'm sure he'll want to drive since he has his learner's permit. In September he can get his regular license when he turns 16. Years ago we were able to get the regular license at 15 and I already had a lot of miles piled up. I drove with my dad at 13 in the '54 DeSoto and when I got my license that was my car to drive so I could keep away from the Oldsmobile.

Got my license in the morning of 14th birthday, that afternoon was driving an auto parts delivery truck. A 1956 Chevy.

We bought a new bed Saturday, man i forgot what a great nights sleep was. Both nights I've got 10 straight hours of sleep and waking up in same position I fell asleep. I'm usually at the 6 hour mark if I'm lucky

What did you end up getting? The wife and I will need to spring for one in the near future -- we've had the same mattress for quite a few years, although I spend so much time on the road for business that my side is probably still like new......

It had the flathead 6 that was pretty peppy even with the automatic transmission.

Looked like this one but it was dark green.

What are you building, Jim?

Got 4-5" of snow this morning. All melted now. Low 40's here currently.

Gonna have to take the truck to ford. Been getting a pop when turning the wheel to the right. Atleast I was able to get it on video, so they can't tell me the favorite they can't replicate the sound

Going to complain 1 more time about the vibration when towing, thinking about flat out asking them to check the tranny mount.

I'm at 59,505 so might as well try to get the issues resolved before factory powertrain runs out

Do you feel the vibration throughout the whole truck Coy or just through the steering wheel?

Mine gets a faint vibration in the wheel every now and then but goes away if you turn the wheel slightly either way. It doesn't do it often enough to be certain I can duplicate it at the dealer. I'm pretty sure it's something to do with the rack. Maybe it's low on electricity??

The trucks only got 30,000 miles on it, I hope the rack isn't on its way out already.

The whole truck. Been noticeable when towing for about 40k miles. Seems to be getting worse and I can now feel it without a load when accelerating hard. Not very noticeable when unloaded but I can tell something isn't right.

Definitely driveline though.

I'm pooped. Will be sore in the morning. Prying up the old boards takes a lot of energy!
