Going to be in the 50's today but the winds are going to be 40-50mph too

 

Jeez gas jumped up $0.25 in the last 2 days

 

Jumped 20 cents here. I filled up just in time. Usually not so lucky.

 

High today is supposed to be 77, 80 tomorrow.

 

Allergies are horrible this morning. Suppose to be gusts up to 50mph this afternoon.

 

It's the boy's 10th birthday tomorrow -- we're going to let him sleep in and when he wakes up wondering what the heck is going on we're going to tell him that he gets to play "hooky" from school for his birthday! We're going to take him down to the Kemah Boardwalk in the afternoon and then grab dinner down there in the evening before heading back home -- should be fun......

 

A school teacher will do that?

Getting ready to head down to Grand Isle to check on the camp. Beautiful day and temps in the mid 70's...taking the camera instead of the fishing tackle!

 

Rough life!

 

My daughter and son in law have a crew re-doing the inside of the camp and wants me to go and check on it plus take some pics. Its almost like work!!

Heck yeah -- I think she needed the day of "hooky" more than the boy did......

Of course, being a teacher, she made sure to get the work he was going to miss from his teachers so he could do it over the weekend.....
