Kind of weird that you say that -- with all the driving I've been doing here lately (I should total about 6000 miles between June and July) and all the rain we had here in Texas this Spring, I have been amazed at how few bugs I've had to clean off my windshield? Most of my travel has been between Houston and Austin, or Houston and Dallas, and my impression is that the bugs have been pretty minimal so far this year?

I guess you're just holding out for a V8 swap so you can actually go fast
It was a spur of the moment deal buying the stuff and had the extra cash. Plus there is always a possibility i find a exceptional deal on a 14 and grab it. They still have 4 14's on the local dealer lot with my 2 favorite colors (race red, flame blue). Just haven't budged from 10k off. If it gets to 13 or 14k like my truck did then it will be done.

If i keep the truck i will for sure put the goodies on after the 75k mile warranty is done.

Just sucks having to drive to Houston to get the truck tuned.

Where do you take it and what kind of shop is it? I have been toying with the idea of supercharging my '05 once my injector warranty is up next year, but haven't really looked into whether there are any local shops I would trust with the job?

Doesn't look like the 3-valve 5.4 is their specialty.......

I'd bet Eric would do it. Its hard nowadays to find Ford Performance shops. I've seen some Coyote builds he has done and they were mean

Let's start over......

The truck has been in the garage for a week now. It sure has been nice to give it a break from baking in the sun all the time. Plus now that it's not in the way I had a chance to pressure wash the driveway today.

I'll have to move it soon because I can't do anything in the garage with it taking up all the space. I'm also getting tired of driving my old lady's car everywhere. I don't fit in it very well lol. I just don't want to move the truck because it was such an ordeal getting it in there

theres a local DFW guy that tunes Mustang 5.0s. He's really good. He's got a Hellion Twin Turbo 5.0 putting down 550 very very conservatively.

Considered having him throw some tunes on an XC4 for me and see what he can do with my pick-em-up truck

successful day, I had Derek over, replaced the axle bearings and seals on his red 03 Supercrew (Redd) (formally NT)

Got a little bit of stuff cleaned up in the garage while I was watching him work, and there for guidance and a helping hand if needed
