Hey Stealth, today, the Conoco out near me changed the spread on the gas grades. Now, 89 is 20 cents more than 87 and 93 is 40 cents more than 87. Until today, it was a 10 cent jump.

I have no clue why gas stations are doing that.

Our spread here from 87 to 93 is typically 25-26 cents.

Yep, that is what it is in Houston. I don't know why ours is 40 cents. Was 20 cents forever.

There is no justification for the price of a barrel of oil. I saw it was $132 today. Just robbery. It won't be long until you see more gasoline thefts.

One thing that amazes me is that a quart of oil has not gone up like gas. My dealer still charged me $1.67 for a quart of Motorcraft 5-20 when I had the oil changed.

The reason it's so high is the speculation, not supply and demand. Robbery, plain and simple.

Nailed it on the head Stealth. Plenty of oil to go around, and they have stated that. Its simply sad.

Diesel in Missouri is $.59-$.75 more than regular gas. In Illinois diesel is at least $.75 more per gallon than regular.
