Planning on doing a lot of driving next Wednesday. Going to return to Burleson from Athens, 100 miles, then load up and head to Damon for a 5 hour drive. If I had an EB, I could just pfffft my way down there.

Considering I took this pic in the truck by just lifting the camera, pointing in the general direction, and hitting the button, while keeping my eyes and attention fully on the road, I think it turned out pretty damn nice..

Can't say as much for the vomit stuck to the side of the truck.....

Was she drunk and you were taking her home after a party so she didn't end up in one of the upstairs bedrooms with the quarterback for the football team.....

I took a girl like that home after a party when I was your age and she ended up barfing all over the interior of my '72 Monte Carlo. She obviously had eaten apples earlier in the day, and from that point forward the car always smelled like a odd mixture of apples and beer whenever it heated up in the sun.....

Kind of a cute little thing though -- she's got just the right amount of "chipmunky" going on.....

Oh She was loaded. Finished a bottle of rum herself and more. But no vomiting, that was from a male friend of mine later on. At least its outside, and not an overly nice truck haha

Does your wife go out to East Texas with you or does she usually stay back in Burleson?

She used to go nearly every week but as of late, she goes about once a month to do the cleaning. She won't go this next week as I will work just 1 1/2 days.

You're slacking mom...1.5 days

Saw a '15 mustang today and it had a nice sounding axle back. Had the brembo brakes package.

So are you going to eventually end up in one place or the other, or will you keep bouncing back-and-forth between places once you quit working?

Not sure even God knows. If he does, I wish he would inform my wife.

Hey -- as long as he continues to "inform" her every few years that you need a new truck, I'd just keep my mouth shut and roll with it......

Pretty much what I do. The job and going to the farm helps keep my sanity.

Yeah -- I worry about my wife when she gets to retirement age -- I'm afraid she's going to have to at least get a part time job doing something she likes because she doesn't have a temperament that will do well with large amounts of down time.

I think even she knows this and will probably end up substitute teaching a few days a week during the school year. It's kind of weird to think that in about 10-years we'll be getting within "spitting distance" of being able to tell the rest of the world to go screw themselves.....

Another round of thunderstorms moved through. Power was off for an hour. More coming this afternoon. We may float away. There were some bad tornados west of Fort Worth.

Sounds like I'll be making a DFW run soon -- wherever it's raining this week you can bet I'll be traveling there in the next week or two to look at jobs that got inundated with water while they were being framed. No problem there -- I've been to DFW so many times over the last 20 years it's like my "home away from home".....
