You weren't cruising very fast. The speedometer shows Zero, I guess that's just like how you EB guys think you're going fast all the time?

I wish I had got the EcoBeast. They are really fast, and a must if you want to keep up with the big boys!

Dang it -- this always happens to me......

So I took the Cavalier in for its annual emissions check and safety inspection. As the guy was getting ready to ring me up, he says "Wow -- you really put a lot of miles on that thing!"

I assumed he was joking, since the car is coming up on 20 years of age and only has 46,000 miles on it, so I said "Yeah -- and I put most of those miles on over the last year!"

So I sit down in my car and look at my print out and sure enough they have punched in the mileage as "464,809" instead of "46,480.9"......

Not a huge deal since I will probably never sell the car until it is run into the ground, but the same thing has also happened on my Mustang and my F-150 and it creates a mileage discrepancy when you do a vehicle history report! I'll have to watch them like a hawk when I bring the '87 Crown Victoria in with 4200 miles on it for the first time.....

Yup happens all the time with Mom's 99 cougar. i checked the free carfax maintence records and has it now at 111,000 miles when she got it inspected last month. It only has 11,000 miles.

Although I suppose it should be fairly easy to explain away -- I mean, what Cavalier has ever made it to 464,000 miles......
