Driving 2 1/2 hours South to meet my daughter and pick up my grandson. He and I will then head to the farm in East Texas and will spend four days fishing the farm ponds and the Nueches River. May go to Purtis State Park one day. I will work a little in the mornings while he fishes the pond at the cabin. It will be a fun time.

It's a great change from what we had the last few weeks I can see a couple spots of grass in the yard.

Same here, so that was why I asked for clarification.

And then comes the "grandest" part about being a grandparent -- the part where you give them back to their mom after a few days!

i just found another compartment on the truck... I was vacuuming it out and saw a little handle on the middle jump seat.. Raised it and the bottom part of the seat came up and there is a little storage compartment. Never knew

Looked at a jobsite south of Baton Rouge today -- Paw, how do you people live on these damn swamps down here anyways?! It's like building your house over a bowl of soup.......

yea i knew about the cup holders.. Guess since i've had the seat covers for almost as long as the truck is why i never really saw the latch. Perfect place for the GPS and the X4 Tuner.

The center console on top of the jump seat is rediculous. May be able to get a pair of sunglasses in it. One thing i LOVED on the KR was the crazy amount of room in the front and rear center console's..

Yep, my old lariat had the gaping abyss center console. I loved it too despite things sliding around. This flip down console is indeed rather useless, but I still prefer the raised armrest height and ability to flip it up and let the dog ride beside me.

I like my middle seat (and I actually use it as such)
