Hey! I'm STILL paying SS. And getting taxed pretty heavily on my benefits. They have a racket going.

Jim or Patrick are your 14's using oil? Good friend has a 14 and changed the oil at 1600 miles and it was a quart low.. He just got it changed again at 6000 miles and the dealership had on the reciept pre oil check 2 quarts low.. Doesn't 2 quarts seem a little much for only 4400 miles?

Mine uses about 6oz every 5,000-6,000 miles, but that's also the total that ends up being caught in my oil separator.

Something to consider regarding it:http://www.f150forum.com/f70/5-0-oil...mption-119894/

Yes, I would not be happy at all with that usage. I have 2600 on mine and it is about 1/4 down on the dip stick. I will change at 5000 and expect to use less than a quart.

Sounds and looks incredible... what a monster. Love the high revving naturally aspirated motors.

Put 452 miles on the Expy this past year. Guess it's wasteful to change the oil but always done it annually.

Yeah -- you could probably get by going a couple or more years between oil changes, but for the small expense and effort involved I'd swap it out just for my own satisfaction.

How are you putting the miles on it -- one big chunk or lots of little trips?
