Let's start over......
New tool for my collection.....https://www.f150online.com/forums/20...ml#post5116949
Dad called this morning and said he had a flat tire on his Suv and was at a gas station. I was about 45 miles from town so told him it will be a little while. He was sitting at the gas station and a lady came out and asked if she could help him. He said he was waiting for me.
She went back in got him a drink and a sandwich and came back out and gave it to him.. Wouldn't take any money for it. Then she came back out about 10 mins later and said i called my uncle and he will be here soon to change the tire for you. About that time he pulled up changed the tire for dad and when he got it off the jack turned out the spare was flat also.
Dad told him that i was on the way with an air tank and i would air the spare up so he could get to discount tire. Dad offered him money for his time and trouble and the guy wouldn't consider taking any money. About 30 mins later i pulled up and the lady's husband came out of the store and asked if that was my dad. I told him yes and he said ok, we were just keeping a eye on him to make sure he knew who you were.
He helped me air the tire up and we were on our way. Good to see their are still some very helpful and honest people out there.. It made me feel good. Especially dad being in his mid 80's
