Last day of my vacation -- next week it's back to the grindstone! Looks like I'll start the week off with a job to look at up around Decatur, TX -- haven't been out that way for work in at least a few years!
Got kind of screwed-over with my original plans for my vacation (detail one of my cars) because of the rain we had here this week, but in retrospect it was ok because it forced me to do NOTHING -- most days I just kind of "putzed" on a few things around the house, went out for lunch, ran a few errands, pretty much whatever I felt like doing on that particular day! I didn't even tell the wife I was on vacation out of fear she would come up with some kind of "project" for my time off.....
Today I'm going to take my Ranger out for a drive in the country, grab some BBQ at a little place I like over towards Waller, TX, and then head back home and change the oil on the truck. I've had the "For Sale" sign on the Ranger for a couple of weeks, but it's only been out of the garage about twice in that time, so maybe I'll stir-up a call or two on the vehicle while I'm out and about.
I'll tell you right now, I could get real used to weeks like this -- this must be how Paw and Blue feel every week of the year.......
