They don't do times.. A couple years ago it was a 1/4 mile and they got it repaved and the contractor did a horrible job to where chunks of pavement was coming up and now they cant use it. so they just run the last 1/8th mile of the track until they can come up with the funds to get the whole track redone. Kinda a crappy deal because it was a great drag strip before the repave from what i have read.

 

 

I hadn't been to the theatre in forever until I went and saw Fury last week. Excellent movie.

 

Haven't seen that one. We saw The Judge. It was very good.

 

We have an 8-year-old -- neither my wife nor I can remember the last time we saw a movie that wasn't either a cartoon or involved 3D glasses! Although we're both stoked because after seeing the original on DVD, our son is now anxious to see "Dumb & Dumber 2" when it comes out the middle of November.....

The previews of that new Bill Murray movie look intriguing to me.....

 

The Judge has two of my favorite actors, Robert Duvall and Billy Bob Thornton. At the end of the movie, there was a Willie Nelson song playing that I had never heard. I was shocked to find out it was originally by Coldplay. The Scientist.

 

 

Agreed....seen it 2 weeks ago when it was first released....the other movie that I saw that same week was The Equalizer with Denzel Washington that was pretty good also

 

Shot an unofficial time of 12.9 in the quarter yesterday....sun was just about set and it was around 45* and 40% humidity....summer tires are done now....putting winter ones on this week

 

Daughter's basketball league started yesterday.... They won both games....by a landslide....didn't think that they were going to do that well with four noobs on the team...the good thing is that there's 10 girls on the team now instead of 6 like they had last year

 

Saw The Equalizer, yes, it was good.

 

Having fun at work today....running steps hauling material up....wish there was an elevator close by
