Backed off the **** for temp to about 80% of cold and the popping stops. Thanks Coy for that tip. Guess you guys are correct on it being a blend door motor. That's just great.

better than nothing....or it defaulting to defrost....imo

It should be a pretty easy fix. I think that one is behind the radio.
