Got the truck stuck last night in front of the cabin. First time in my life I wished I had 4 wheel. The melted ice and snow made it a muck place. Hope it dries out enough today to drive it out.

Don't know if you have an open differential or not because it doesn't take much to get them stuck.

LS 3.55. I was stupid for trying to get close to the cabin. Had stuff to unload. Has to dry out enough to go up an incline. Now I'll worry all day about the horses messing up the truck more than they have already.

Now that logic has me wondering about all your posts! I had so much power even in second gear that I could do nothing but spin. My first thought was , man, I wish I had 4 wheel, my second thought was man, if I had the EB, the tires would not even spin and I could drive right out!

These horses would push the truck in the pond. They've never had to work. just pets.

That sucks Jim... I got stuck for the second time this year. I was trying to get into the driveway and got stock in the snow. Being lowered it sucked I had to snowblow the whole driveway to even move the truck. My brother with 4wd was home and left to go to a friends house as I have the truck stuck in the middle of the driveway. Just looked and said have fun... thanks

My boss/co worker came to pick me up in his FX4 EB, took one look and decided he would take me to work instead of trying to pull me out. If I can't drive out this evening, the landlord has a tractor. There just isn't anything to hook onto to pull it up the hill.

No, nothing handy to put in it. I was able to turn the truck around facing the other direction without going forward or backward or sliding off into the pond. That was an accomplishment but now wish I hadn't as if I do need to be pulled out, could have hooked onto the trailer hitch. Nothing really on the front. I'm afraid the bumper will bend.

No, would that help? Never gave that a thought. On the other hand, I think I may have it off all the time.
